About 200 m south of Suontaa manor and about 17 m northwest of the water tower of the manor is the discovery site of an Iron Age burial.
From the grave, e.g. two iron swords, a sheath knife, two oval buckles, a human femur, etc. The grave researcher considers it possible that the grave is part of a larger cemetery, but there are no observations of other graves. According to the landowner, a silver-decorated spearhead may have been found in the same place in the 1930s, and based on the terrain, it is likely
a cemetery.
The terrain has clearly been modified and a possible ancient relic may have been partly destroyed. Elucidating the scope of the site requires more detailed studies. A dense spruce grows in the place.
