The main staircase of Tollbugata 22 is completely cast in black terrace with white granules. The construction of the hand runner is in steel and the top is made of "Craftex". Today the steel on the hand runner is painted in grey. There have also been larger changes to the staircase. For the 1.st floor it is now a new wall on the right side of the stairs starting point. The hand runners are switched out with a new model until the first repo. In 1967 the main staicase was removed from the 7.th floor and replaced with a spiral staicase. This was because a new office was to be added.

Bygningen ble tegnet i 1931 og stod ferdig i 1932. Det var originalt en forretningsgård i syv etasjer tegnet av F.S. Platou. Med klesbutikken til Olsen,  Jahrmann & Co i de to første etasjene. Norsk Sprengstoffindustri (DYNO) kjøpte bygningen i 1959. I dag har Norsk Sykepleierforbund har sitt hovedkontor her. Listeført.
